Our Story

Our founder Danh took a big risk and quit his stable job in 2011 to found Quán Bụi Group. In the more than ten years since then, we have committed to bringing fresh, healthy, and authentic dishes together with a tailored atmosphere for every customer. We wish for every visit with us to feel unique and strive to do so every day.
We prioritize sustainable local sources in choosing our ingredients and decor. This aligns with one of our core values of championing local farmers and artisans. The quality of their products is world class and we want to showcase them to our customers.
Promoting Vietnamese culture also applies to the spacial design of our establishments which are modeled after traditional family homes.
Spending time with us is feeling the essence of Vietnam.
Our restaurants aim to satisfy the needs of not only Vietnamese who want to enjoy daily authentic home cooked food, but also foreigners who want to explore our culture. We take this role seriously and are always finding ways to improve so that we can serve better in this capacity.
Our menus offer far more choices than famous dishes such as pho or banh mi. These lesser known dishes are delicious daily slices of insight into Vietnamese home meals. We are proud that non- Vietnamese people can get a clear insight into our daily culture through trying food that is familiar to local people but doesn’t commonly appear in foreign media.
Additionally, we also push our limits to test and successfully offer fusion Vietnamese dishes at Laang for more adventurous foodies, local and foreign alike.
