We are pleased that you’re here with us so that I can share my vision with you for all that Quán Bụi Group works to accomplish.

From the beginning, Quán Bụi Group’s vision has been preserving and promoting Vietnamese culture. The essence of our culture is much more than a banh mi sandwich or an ao dai dress. We put an emphasis on family life where everyone in a household gathers together to eat dinner each day. At the table, they talk, they laugh, and they create memories.

In this busy life, Quán Bụi Group wants to provide a peaceful oasis in all of our establishments where you can find a warm atmosphere and comforting food with the ones you care for most. Just like at home.
Dining out in Saigon is full of endless options. We don’t have crystal glasses or any hallmark features of a sterile restaurant but instead focus on the coziness of our traditional Vietnamese family recipes that will make you feel at home in a contemporary setting.

2021 was not an easy year for Vietnam, but we pressed through incredible challenges and made it to the other side. All of us made it. Our strength comes from our communal faith in our heritage of conquering difficulties throughout Vietnam’s 4,000 year history. We also take great inspiration from our community. We are stronger together We will continue to move forward, and we’d love to have you with us in the coming journey.

Milestone 01

From a humble meal… to a meaningful journey The journey of Quán Bụi began in April 2009, when Mr. Danh Trần acquired a franchise branch of Bobby Brewers, a well-known café and restaurant brand at the time. It marked his very first step into the F&B industry — a journey of learning by doing. Two years later, when the landlord decided to sell the property, the original business model had to come to an end. Instead of following the conventional path, Danh chose to start fresh with a clearer vision — one that stayed true to Vietnamese culinary culture and better served the needs of local diners. In September 2011, the very first Quán Bụi officially opened on a small street in Tân Định, District 1 — a neighborhood often nicknamed “Little Hollywood” by the local filmmaking community. The restaurant initially catered to the growing demand for set lunch menus among office workers, which was a popular trend in cafes at the time. As the business developed, the concept gradually evolved into an à la carte menu format. This led to the opening of Quán Bụi Original on Ngô Văn Năm Street in May 2013. At a time when fast food chains were rapidly expanding in Vietnam, Quán Bụi chose to focus on its core values: thoughtfully prepared Vietnamese dishes, a simple and cozy space, and the warmth of a home-style meal.

Quán Bụi’s gastronomical journey doesn’t stop at Saigon however.

In the midst of rapid development, Quán Bụi also takes a step back towards fulfilling our original purpose: to bring cozy meals to every customer with the most authentic flavors possible.
